The primary purpose of this mailing list is to discuss the Bicycle Touring 101 website.

The Mailing List is covered by the Bicycle Touring 101 Privacy Policy.

Examples of things that I would like to see discussed include feedback about items on this website, suggestions for new topics and ideas on how to further improve this website.

If you have a different viewpoint about an article then please feel free to express your opinion. As I've mentioned elsewhere there are many ways to tour. I would like to include your methods if possible.

Providing quotes based on your personal experience is greatly appreciated. Anything quoted in the article will include full credit along with a link to your bicycle touring related web page.

At all times courtesy and respect to others on the list is desired and expected.

It's ok to disagree but it's not ok to be rude about it.

The membership of this list is protected. I will not be sharing the membership list with anyone else. If an opportunity comes up for list members to benefit from a special arrangement then I will post the details to the list and leave it to each list member to decide if they wish to pursue the opportunity or not.

Please consider posting a brief introduction when you join the list.

If you are a commercial vendor your participation on the list is welcomed provided that you consider the welfare of the list at all times when making your posts. It’s ok to comment on a product you sell, provide a viewpoint or or assist someone having problems by recommending a solution. Be careful not to enter the realm of Spam.

Another excellent Mailing List that is actually one of the inspirations for this website is the International Bicycle Touring Mailing List. This list is a great resource for touring as well with lots of very knowledgable participants.
